In a recent study, men who were moderately active at work were 10% less likely to develop heart failure, while women did even better with 20% less likely to develop heart failure. Here’s a not so new concept…combining physical activity during leisure time and work activity led to even greater heart health. Bottom line, physical activity is good for you whether you get it at work or play…even on your way to work, for example, walking or biking to your job.
